Brother James Brown of "Star of the West" LOL No. 3163, Innisfail, Alberta passed away on January 24, 2010.  Bro. Brown  was a Past Master of the Loyal Orange County Lodge of Alberta from 2002-2003. 


BROWN, James Hugh
1930 - 2010
Mr. James Hugh Brown passed away at the Rosefield Care Centre, Innisfail
on Sunday January 24, 2010 after a lengthy Illness with Alzheimer's
disease. Jim was born at Innisfail on August 31, 1930 and lived all his
life in the area. He was a very gifted man and was employed as an
electrician, mechanic, heavy equipment operator, carpenter and repair
man. His hobby was repairing old clocks, often making parts when none
were available. He loved music, especially hymns and was also a talented
singer and violinist. Jim is survived by his loving wife Betty; his step
son George (Brenda) Morison; grandchildren Bill, Stanley (Stephannie),
Tammie (Niel), Mathew and families; granddaughter Marissa and her mom
Rhonda; nieces Laura and Susan Dunlap and familes. He is also survived
by a sister in law Gwen Brown, Mary Huntly, Marion Kennedy, May Wagers,
Laura Burton as well as numerous cousins and extended family. Jim was
predeceased by his parents Hugh and Doris Brown; sister Jean (Walter)
Dunlap; a brother John Brown; step son Gordon Morison; brothers in law
Bob Huntly, Bill Kennedy and Ralph Wagers. A memorial service will be
held at the Innisfail United Church on Wednesday January 27, 2010 at
2:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the
Alzheimers Society, the Rosefield Care Centre or to a charity of ones
choice.
