Grand Orange Lodge of Western Canada

The GOLWC Annual Session's

This year the Annual Session's for the Grand Orange Lodge Of Western Canada was in Edmonton, Alberta  and Edmonton's "Strathcona" L.O.L. 1654 being the host Lodge .

The turnout was very good and thanks to Members who travelled from out of Province as far as Manitoba. Session's went very well and a lucheon and dinner banquet was provided that everyone enjoyed and refreshments later at the Kingsway Legion.A special thanks to a quest speaker Ken Munro,  from the Monarchist League of Canada was in attendance and provided a excellent speech, which touched many. 

We all hope to see each other next year in British Columbia.

Dates of meetings for "Mememto" Royal Black Preceptory No.975 for 2008 are:

January 26, March 29th, May 31st, July 26th, September 27th & November 29th.
All meetings fall on Saturday's and start at 12:30 inside the Innisfail Orange Hall.

Innisfail LOL meetings are scheduled to follow the RBP meetings.

The Calgary Royal Black Preceptory meets the fourth Wednesday inside the Oddfellows Hall, 1507 - 14th avenue, SW, Calgary. Meetings start at 7:30pm.

Annual meeting of the Alberta Orange Foundation for Children took  place on March 9, 2007 at Red Deer Moose Hall , the banquet was a great success , food was esspecially good. The  LOBA did a "Fantastic" job putting the banquet together and we all hope to see each other soon. Details for next meeting will be posted as soon as recieved.
